TOO DEEP TO WADE
This perfect day
Often, seems a week too early
Or a week too late.
Is this a curse or blessings proud?
Suppose it often depends
On one's silver linings of clouds.
Angelic light showing through,
With the willingness to receive it,
Passes shards of prism reflection to others.
Blessed be understanding's mirror bridges
Reflecting with sacred blue light's heat.
Heads held high as we ever climb over ridges.
As time waits behind
For those of us who shine,
Distaining great or petty crime.
Though as it must be,
We succumb to degrees of evils in temptation,
Mayhap it is because of not being he.
Who was human enough
To be tempted twice unlike our many times,
When times are too easy or rough.
Despair, caused by toxic hearts if excuses are made
For many depths of our wrong of humanity
Building up excrement, too deep to wade.

Excrement ~ animal waste excreted from the body
"To doubt
twice…." ~ If my memory is correct, once before Jesus' trip into the desert
and secondly, upon the cross and I'm sure every religion spiritual leader addresses temptation.
Yes?
Yesterday, I wrote a somewhat Wiccan tinged love question poem and today I revise an old one of mine,
showing a foundation of by present beliefs of which I wrote a poem yesterday. Don't know if this poem
is any type of form (free-form?) or just one that flowed from me as I'm blessed to have them often do
yet I have been known to revise at the drop of a hat.
